Pseudo-documentary court hearing /Waltz with Ginsberg, this small but interesting thing does whatever it’s doing well. Strathairn’s confusion and Hamm’s appreciation are equally applicable to the film itself. Franco performs well as he sucks a last drop from Milk’s teat. Animation may better have suited Burroughs than this Clothed Brunch.

Solitary Man
Gordon Gekko’s horny brother stars with Sarandon again in Wall Street 3: Money Took a Nap. Douglas’ performance is entertaining, and he has remarkable chemistry with each co-star. Jesse Eisenbeouf learns to network socially while Parker’s lonely housewife goes Red with rage. Still, storyline isn’t compelling and ending feels forced.

Red
Intentionally quirky performances by venerated actors create necessary defining kitsch. Story is as vapid as Parker’s character and the otherwise well-shot fight scenes often degenerate into infinite ammo machine-gun fire. Basically an action party for Oscar winners and a film well worth watching when it reappears ad infinitum on TNT.
