Can’t slam Duncan hard enough, as this time he overshoots
the moon big time. Source could be to blame for heavy-handed exposition and
mediocre storyline, but dark magic must be at fault for the awful CG. New
additions to D&D character canon include heroin-withdrawn soldier, seasick
half-orc and constipated foster-wizard.

Gyllenhaal’s video game vantage point, again and again and again. Jones moon’s us again, and again he satisfies. Sure there are some plot holes to be ignored. But then, maybe if viewed 50 times they start to make sense. Regardless, it’s a fun ride, albeit not for the other passengers.

Moon
David Bowie’s son directs this sublime psychological sci-fi flick that shoots for the moon and lands incredible performance(s) from star, Sam Rockwell. Reminiscent of Solaris and 2001, but only in the best possible ways. A strong story saves the film from subpar special effects; not for fans of Michael Bay.
