Wanderlust

Aniston gets dragged on this Apatow-esque roadtrip into a stereo-typical hippy commune and onto an over-the-top husband to be.  Extreme commune portrayal builds a few funny jokes but undermines efforts to make commentary on everyday life.  Rudd plays Rudd as usual, but ad libs away potential sexiest scene in film.

Zoolander

Stiller’s still quirky after naming himself most beautiful man alive. Ferrell finds forte as supporting man in fashion world. Film dons star-studded string of cameos and flaunts it like no other. Ultimately a hilarious movie with OK plot but lots of heart. Great quotes for those who don’t read good.

Mulholland Dr.

Experimental film that improves dramatically with each viewing. Difficult to criticize terrible performances, particularly from Watts, as they were intentionally bad. Attempting to comprehend the plot is waste of time that will make you want to Lynch the director. Look forward to equally dissatisfying blue box and lesbian sex scenes.
