…it would say an awful lot in very few words. Unfortunately,
images are so poetically effective that they convey content too quickly and
much of movie feels redundant, sustained only by beautiful score. Though
narratively too concise, cleverly illustrates conundrum of conflicting
prejudices against victimized women and falsely accused men.

The Little Hours
The Disaster Abbott is an extraordinarily unConventional literary
adaptation, that serves up rations of raucous amusement and beautiful scenery,
but neither in substantial enough portions to support the film’s weight. The leading
performances are all entertaining, but they seem too consistent and the quest
for an arc reveals there’s nun.

The Disaster Artist
Directing himself as one of the worst directors ever, one of
the most underwhelming directors of the decade directs one of the best films of
the year. There was plenty of Room to outdo the source material, and the
Francos filled it magnificently. No need to tear this one apart.

Nerve
After a run-in with mistruths, the Catfish guys succeeded
again… if they were dared to make a film that follows neither common sense nor
its own logic. Somehow they struck a nerve and still racked up viewers, perhaps
due to the flashy look, successfully and ironically substituting style for
content.
