Brilliant child stars infuse Scary 8 with as much charm as an early Spielberg film, effectively making It E.T. but with a murderous clown substItuted for a stranded alien. Stranger King’s weakest things are heavy-handed VFX beats, Mickey Moused score, and clichéd clowning around. But those kids, really nailed it!
